Silverstream Lodge is a friendly, relaxed country retreat 2 minutes from Lincoln University and 30 minutes from Christchurch International Airport and the CBD. Designed for your comfort and privacy, Silverstream has only recently been completed.

Our Lodge is set in beautiful mature gardens within our 28 acre property, enjoying views of the Port Hills. As we are alongside the Liffey Stream, trout fishing and messing about in boats are just two of the many attractions offered.

We offer our guests exquisite comfort in the form of the highest quality beds, cotton linen and feather pillows, central heating, mini fridge, en suite bathrooms with walk-in showers and large sunny rooms: all with either garden access or private balcony overlooking the garden.

Our breakfast comes courtesy of our own free range organic hens – we grow our own feed grain and the poultry enjoy the outdoors in the paddock next door, doing what hens, ducks and guinea fowl do all day – scratching around for bugs. The bacon is old fashioned, tasty and our own. Truly the heart of a traditional country breakfast!

Your hosts and owners of Silverstream Lodge are Grant and Kathy Gillatt. Grant is a recently retired farmer and Kathy is an enthusiastic cook that enjoys making the most of the best produce Canterbury has to offer.
